This is the story of another successful Bosnian who successfully developed his business in Cologne, Adnan Fejzovic, who is a car mechanic who decided to start assembling, repairing and selling electric motorcycles. Adnan has been living in Germany since 1992, and where he came from his homeplace of Vogosca.
Electric motors have become a hit in Germany, and can be charged anywhere where there is a normal electrical outlet, writes Ekspanzija.com.
”I started with this business last year in October and the business started very well. I am the first and only one in Cologne, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt to sell this type of engine. They have two models, one with one and the other with two seats. They can reach speeds of up to 70 km per hour, and with a charged battery they can travel up to 75 km. After that, the battery must be charged for about four hours. These are eco-engines that protect the environment and the air. The price of one engine is around 2,000 euros. They are produced in Hong Kong, and I go to Amsterdam to pick them up. I transfer them from Amsterdam to Cologne, and then I assemble them there and prepare them for safe driving,” said Fejzovic.
”A few days ago, when I was riding this motorcycle through the city, I noticed that the police was following me. At one point they turned on their rotation and showed me a sign to stop. I immediately thought that I have committed an offense, but as far as I knew, I had not. A policeman approached me with a smile, looked at the motorbike and kindly asked me, if I could give it to him briefly, to take a ride. That same policeman came to my shop a few days later and bought that electric motor,” he said, Avaz reports.
