coffee cupA day after the funeral of 175 victims of genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnian and Herzegovinian who  live in Toronto will line up 3.500 coffee cups on the streets of this city in memory of victims of genocide.

These coffee cups are donated by B&H families throughout the world.

“Bosnian coffee is a characteristic of our culture. Also, we drink it in a specific way, we always share it with others”, said Aida Šehović, an artist who lives in New York and one of the organizers of this event.

Citizens of Toronto by pouring coffee in the cups which are set on the streets will remember all the victims of genocide in Srebrenica. Coffee cups are dedicated to those who are not with us anymore, and if they were today alive they would have coffee with the rest of B&H citizens.
