Brčko: Campaign “No Excuses Europe, Now!”

brckoWithin the campaign “No excuses Europe, now!”, the Centres for Civil Initiatives (CCI) and the Youth Centre “Vermont” installed  a street stand at the Brčko Youth Square yesterday.

Signatures of citizens have been collected in order to request an accelerated accession of B&H into European Integration process.

“The stagnation of B&H on the European path is going on too long, nothing has been done about it last year, we cannot even approach certain funds from the pre-access funding. That’s why we decided to give our citizens a chance to declare their demands in a democratic way and to influence directly or indirectly the politicians they have chosen so they could start leading B&H towards the EU without excuses. The citizens can no longer be hostages of their politic manoeuvres.” – said Ana Lučić, the project coordinator of the CCI.

She also added that this campaign has been implemented for three months now across B&H and that 30 000 signatures were collected and will be sent to parliaments of all levels of authorities.
