On the basis of approval of the Saudi Fund for development from the 13th of January 2016, University of Sarajevo as an executive agency of the project, announced an invitation for submitting offers for the procurement of consultancy services for the implementation project of construction and equipping the libraries of the University of Sarajevo in late January.
The call includes the following consulting services: implementation project, preparation of drawings, premeasures and bill of quantities in accordance with the Regulation on the type, content, marking and storing, control and nostrification of the investment-technical documentation and it will be open until the 21st of March 2016.
According to the call, interested consultants must confirm qualification for performing the services and knowledge on the guidelines of the Fund, and should be familiar with FIDIC type of contract on construction. Bidding for a contract financed by the Fund is open to all companies and consortia from any country.
Parcel of the Library of the University is on the surface of 8590 m2, while the total area of the Library is 13,921.75 m2 net and 15,557.23 m2 gross. The library is consisted of two basements, a ground floor and two floors. The library consists of conference halls, books storage, library with reading room, multimedia center (Media Lab), rooms for administration, restaurant etc.
Expected time of execution of the project is 6 months.
The new library building at the University of Sarajevo (UNSA) according to space and equipment will most certainly be one of the most organized and best equipped buildings not only in B&H but the region as well.
