The goal of the campaign is to focus on positioning Turkey as a rich country that has discovery unlimited, heritage unlimited, hospitality unlimited, blue unlimited, feast unlimited etc and Turkey unlimited. Turkey has something that most other destinations don’t: a unique combination of culture, history, geography, themed-tourism options and facilities—in addition to affordability.
“The richness and diversity of Turkey’s offerings makes us preferable and privileged in the whole world”, announced the Office for Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Embassy in BiH.
The activity also highlights the country’s wide range of artistic and cultural events, as well as its warm climate. The campaign is going to be done through TV, outdoor, press and online and covers 22 billboards in Sarajevo, Banjaluka, Zenica, Tuzla, Brčko and Mostar, superboard in Mostar, wallscape beside BBI Center as well as branding of bikes, buses in Banjaluka and trams in Sarajevo. The campaign also includes advertisements in 5 print dailies, 4 magazines, 4 web portals and 3 TV stations as well as a social media campaign.
Cengiz Aydin, Culture and Tourism Attache of Turkish Embassy in BiH, said: “Bosnia and Herzegovina is a really important market for us and that’s why we’ve decided to make investments in the campaign. The new Turkey Unlimited campaign is the perfect assembly of history, climate and the diversity of holidays available. We are proud that our tourism industry continues to defy the global economic crisis and that Turkey is now the sixth most visited country in the world. The market of Bosnia and Herzegovina is really important for us and has a special meaning due to the connections the two countries have.”
Turkey has now become one of the most popular and affordable holiday destinations for BiH citizens.
Mr Cengiz stated:” When it comes to arrivals of bh. tourists, we are proud to say that we have registered remarkable growth over the past 4 years. The number of tourists coming to Turkey from BiH was 47.361 in 2010 and this number has grown on 61.851 tourists in 2012, which is 30 % more. As also now private airline companies has also flight to Sarajevo, it has been causing reduction on price of flight ticket, so I belive that this year there will be a real boom in tourism mobility from Bosnia and hercegovina also from Turkey to Bosnia and Hercegovina. So it is real time to see Unlimited Turkey. On a global level, we have received 31.782.832 visitors in 2012. which is 1,04 % more than in 2011. We are continuing to work on our promotion and our goal to become the fifth in the world for international arrivals.”
