nagradaOrganization CARE Germany-Luxembourg awarded the 8 April award on World Roma Day. This is the award for most successful partner organization to the Association Roma Women “Bolja budućnost” Tuzla. The award ceremony, which was opened by the Mayor of Bonn Juergen Nimptsch, was held in the City Hall in Bonn with the presence of a large number of officials.

On this occasion, a press conference was held by CARE International Balkan, but also on the occasion for best partner organization at the global level.

The award for best partner organization-recognition and 10.000 Euros, that CARE Germany-Luxembourgh, a member of the Federation of CARE International, awards at the global level on behalf of the Roman women’s organization “Bolja budućnost” from Tuzla was received by Director Indira Bajramović.

‘’This is a respectable organization that is recognized not only by institutions, but also a number of local and foreign nonprofit organizations, networks and coalitions, in which this organization participates or leads them (such as the Roma women network ‘Uspjeh’, which gathers nine Roma women organizations)’’, said project manager of CARE International Balkans Ševko Bajić.

“Bolja Budućnost” is the first Roma organization from B&H that won this prestigious award.

Care International Balkans symbolically awarded one used vehicle to another women’s Roma organization “Romska djevojka – Romani ćej” from Prnjaor, said Bajić.
