Since May 4, 2022, when the 2022 General Elections were announced, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed 44 reports to the competent prosecutor’s offices due to reasonable suspicion that a criminal offense has been committed.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina received the information mainly from citizens, and this information related to abuses of voter registration outside Bosnia and Herzegovina and voting by mail, voting by mobile team, and alleged vote buying, and all this information was submitted to the competent prosecutors through reports, stated the CEC BiH.

Due to the well-founded suspicion of falsification of ballots, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted reports to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina ex officio.
