Central Election Commission orders recount of Ballots in Seven Cities

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) has ordered a recount of ballots and the determination of local election results from regular polling stations in Gradacac, Sanski Most, Novi Travnik, Ilijas, Istocni Drvar, Vukosavlje and Gornji Vakuf.

The counting of ballots will be performed in the basic constituency Gradačac at polling stations 025A002 and 025A005B by political entities and candidates for the City Council of Gradačac, and in the basic constituency Sanski Most at polling station 032A022B by political entities and candidates for the Municipal Council of that municipality.

The votes will be counted again in the basic constituency Novi Travnik at polling station 111A003 by political entities and candidates for the Municipal Council of Novi Travnik, as well as in the basic constituency Ilijaš at polling station 118A015 by political entities and candidates for the Municipal Council Ilijaš. In the basic constituency Istočni Drvar, re-sieving will be performed at polling station 058B001 by political entities and candidates for the Municipal Assembly of Istočni Drvar, then in the basic constituency Vukosavlje at polling station 018B000 – personally and in the basic constituency Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje at polling station 110A000 – personally.

These activities will be carried out at 3 pm in the Main Counting Center in the “Zetra” hall in Sarajevo. Accredited observers for the specified polling stations of political entities that appear on the ballot paper for which the counting and determination of election results are performed may be present during the counting, as well as accredited observers for the Main Counting Center, of which they will be notified.
