Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Council of Ministers met on Thursday in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to BiH Eniola Ajayi.

The topic of the meeting was economic cooperation and interlocutors agreed that in the future it is necessary to improve relations between the two countries in all segments.

They stressed the similarity of the two states in terms of multiethnicity and multiculturalism, and said that both countries are beneficial in building good political and economic relations.

Chairman Zvizdic stressed the importance of establishing diplomatic and economic relations and said that BiH has available sectors for future cooperation, especially in agriculture, energy, transport and tourism.

Both agreed that the current cooperation is at a low level and that there are great opportunities for both countries.

Chairman Zvizdić urged representatives from Nigeria to reach contacts with Bosnian-Herzegovinian businessmen and to present their resources to participants in events such as the Sarajevo Business Forum.
