Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanic attends the Summit of the South-East Europe Cooperation Process in Dubrovnik.
Ivanic said that he just returned from Brussels and that he is very pleased with the impressions about the mood of the European Union towards BiH and other countries that are aiming to become members of the EU.
He noted that it is crucial for regional countries to do their part of the job, and most importantly to improve their mutual relations.
“This is especially important for BiH because good relations in the region mean the stability of BiH,” said Chairman Ivanic.
He mentioned several positive things that took place in BiH in the past period in the rest of his addressing, and he expressed the hope that this would result in the status of candidate for membership in the EU in the shortest time possible.
The Chairman of the Presidency of BiH agreed with previous speakers that a joint fight against extremism and violent radicalism is extremely important for the security of the whole region and he also expressed his satisfaction that this topic is more openly discussed in BiH than in the previous period.
