Children With Cancer Will Receive Flats for Temporary Use in Sarajevo

srce_za_djecu_koja_boluju_od_rakaThe Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić and the President of the Association ‘Heart for Children who are suffering from cancer in the FB&H’ Lejla Kamerić will sign today an agreement on the re-approval of giving flats for temporary use without charge to this association.

The signing of the agreement will take place at 13:00 in a flat that is found in the neighborhood Koševo – Vrtovi sunca.

In the session of the city government, with Mayor Semih Borovac at the head, the city of Sarajevo bought and gave out flats for temporary use to the Association ‘Heart for Children who are suffering from cancer in the FB&H’.

At the fourth session of the City Council, held on 26 June 2013, a unanimous decision was adopted on re-issuing flats for temporary use without charge to the Association.

With this agreement, parents in cities throughout FB&H, whose children are receiving treatment for malignant diseases in Sarajevo, will have flats available for the next five years that are around 74 square meters.
