Chinese Government provided around 8.6 Million BAM for B&H?

Zvizdić and Keqiang cazin.netGovernment of the People’s Republic of China reached a decision on donating 30 million Yuan to Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to improve and increase the volume of trade, said the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang during yesterday’s meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Minister of B&H Denis Zvizdić.

The Chinese Prime Minister greeted the initiative which B&H got at the 4th Summit of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe for the organization of economic forum which is to be held in B&H in the first half of 2016.

The Chairman Zvizdić informed Keqiang about the projects in the process of implementation and mentioned the agreement signed three days ago regarding the construction of the thermal power plant Banovići amounting to around 400 million EUR, with the power of 350 megawatts, and with projects which are in preparation for implementation in the coming period and whose value amounts to two billion EUR.

On this occasion, Zvizdić also mentioned possibilities of investing in energetic sector and highlighted that there are space and possibilities in this sector for improvement of cooperation in areas such as hydro and wind power plants.

Zvizdić said that the traffic infrastructure is also an exceptionally important and attractive segment where a great potential for cooperation exists. The Chairman Zvizdić also presented possibilities of cooperation in the fields of industrial production, especially in the fields of wood and metal industry, and invited the Chinese companies to be integrators of process of progress of these significant fields which have the capacity to employ young people up to 27 years of age.

Chairman Zvizdić highlighted the significance of quality customs agreement which B&H has with the European Union, as well as with the countries of the Western Balkans, Turkey, Switzerland, Norway and Ireland. He said that the entire specter of products might be produced in B&H and exported to the mentioned countries.

Zvizdić said that, in accordance with the guidelines from the 4th Summit of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China, the export of B&H agricultural products to China might be increased and on the basis of previous good cooperation requested that B&H gets a preferential treatment with facilitated quotas for certain products in which interest exists at the Chinese market, and which B&H might export.

Chairman Zvizdić invited the Chinese Prime Minister to visit B&H which he accepted and said that he is ready to visit B&H in the coming period.

Prime Minister Keqiang said that B&H and China have determined bilateral relations and that China respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of B&H. furthermore, he expressed readiness for even more active cooperation on improvement of economic, trade and other relations between the two countries.
