The Chinese are interested in construction of Thermal Power Plants in BiH

power plantsAt the invitation of Chinese companies, Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. and Beijing Energy Holding, director of FIPA Gordan Milinic are visiting China to present investment opportunities in the energy sector of BiH.

He met with representatives of Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., which expressed strong interest in investing and realization of projects for the construction of thermal power plants in BiH. They announced their visit to BiH in the second half of March 2017 in order to agree on cooperation with the relevant institutions. The above-mentioned company was the main contractor on the TPP Stanari.

Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) will also talk with representatives of Beijing Energy Holding.

Chinese companies will introduce the delegation from BiH, which is consisting of the director of FIPA and advisor to the Prime Minister of FBiH Gordan Cahtarevic, on realized investments in China, technologies, models of realization of energy projects, especially power plants.

The announced visit of Chinese companies and their strong interest in investing in the energy sector of BiH will be a very strong impetus to the economic development of BiH, as announced by the FIPA.
