DIGITAL CAMERAThe Swisslion tool industry Trebinje (SL IAT) has solved its problem and will enter into partnership with Chinese investors within one month, said the majority owner of SL IAT Rodoljub Drašković yesterday in Nevesinje.

He said that the tool industry is successful and that it has its own market, and that it would soon solve with the RS government inherited debts from taxes and contributions.

Drašković said that Chinese investors, whose headquarters are in Germany, hired law firms from Sarajevo to harmonize contracts with laws in BiH, after which they will enter into a partnership.

“There will be no layoffs’’, said Drašković and added that he will remain the owner, and that Chinese partners will employ people, provide raw materials and the market, and that a part of its profit would be invested in the tool industry.

Drašković said that it would be like this for the next five years, after which there exists a possibility to reach a compromise, and to sell the tool industry to the Chinese. According to earlier announcements, partners from China should start production and employ 500 people. Rodoljub Drašković bought the tool industry in 2007.
