The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotic met today in Sarajevo with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt to Bosnia and Herzegovina Yasser Soroura.
Security co-operation and strengthening relations between the two countries were discussed. Minister Cikotic expressed the expectation that the good cooperation between the police agencies so far will be continued in the future.
He reminded of the importance of efficient cooperation and timely exchange of information in combating global threats such as the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
Also, the problem of illegal migration and the need to improve cooperation between the two countries in this area were discussed, especially when it comes to data exchange and readmission of persons residing illegally.
