A total of 225 samples were tested for coronavirus at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in the past 24 hours, is confirmed by Sebija Izetbegovic, director of KCUS for “Avaz“.

“There are a total of 19 positive patients and they are all from Tesanj,” said Izetbegovic.

Fourteen newly infected people were registered in Tesanj yesterday. Thus, in just two days, the municipality registered 33 new Covid-19 cases, a total of 47.

The Tesanj Crisis Staff has confirmed that the number of infected people in the municipality is growing.

“Unfortunately, on May 21, the virus was confirmed in an employee of the production plant. It is about the same cluster, the employees of that company, their contacts or family members. All infected people have mild symptoms, but regardless of that, until yesterday, 12 people were in the infectious ward at the Cantonal Hospital in Zenica,” it was published on the website of the municipality.

From today, the Tesanj Hospital will perform tests in parallel with the samples that go to Sarajevo, and from Monday, independent testing is expected in Tesanj.
