COM EUFOR meets Ambassador of Slovak Republic to BiH

COM EUFOR Major General Maurizio Fronda meet Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Mr. Roman Hlobeň, on May 6th in Sarajevo, as part of ongoing engagement with key diplomatic partners.

Their discussions focused on the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. COM EUFOR reaffirmed EUFOR’s vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens, underlining the importance of continued cooperation with both local and international partners. He also highlighted the valuable contribution of Slovak personnel serving within the Force. Major General Fronda expressed his appreciation for Slovak’s continued support to international peace, particularly the professionalism of the Slovakian contingent within EUFOR, and acknowledged the constructive role of the Slovak Embassy in fostering cooperation.

EUFOR remains fully committed to delivering its mandate under Operation Althea. Major General Fronda reiterated that EUFOR will continue to act as a visible, credible, and impartial force, contributing to a safe and secure environment across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
