Companies from BiH completed Works abroad in Amount of 24 Million BAM

The value of completed works of construction companies from BiH in the first quarter was 24,199,000 BAM and was by 2.4% lower than the same quarter last year, according to the Statistics Agency of BiH.

Of the total value of completed works in the first quarter, approximately 11.23 million BAM or 46.4 percent of works refer to buildings of high-rise construction, and about 12.96 million BAM or 53.6 percent of works on civil engineering works.

Observed by type of construction works, building construction is represented only in European countries, while civil engineering is represented in most European countries by about 97 percent, and in Africa about three percent.

Out of the total construction work abroad, most of them are in Germany – 29.5 percent, followed by Montenegro 24.8 percent, Croatia 18.1 percent, Serbia 13.6 percent, and Sweden 7.3 percent.
