preventAccording to “Slobodna Bosna”, Prevent takes over the kitchen factory Alno, with which it will become one of the major players in this branch as well. Specifically, this factory employs a total of 2,200 people and it is one of the leading manufacturers of kitchens in Germany.

The factory has three production units, from which it covers German market, as well as the market of stronger European countries, such as Switzerland, Britain, and France. On a daily basis, Alno produces more than 2,500 world-class kitchens, and each of them is made in accordance with the individual wishes of their customers so that Alno never produces two identical kitchen sets.

The annual turnover of the company amounts to 550 million EUR, which is approximately equal to the entire annual export of wood processing industry in BiH.

Prevent seriously stepped into the job with household furniture a few years ago. First, they took the German furniture factory Machalkova, and a year later the German factory of tables and chairs Wossner, whose production was transferred to BiH.

By taking over the company Alno, Prevent has virtually completed its manufacturing division of household furniture with more than 3000 workers. After taking over the company Alno, Prevent will consolidate some production and sales processes in order to rationalize production, reduce costs and increase profits.

The fact how big giant Prevent is in the economic world was visible last summer when they stopped the production of automotive leader Volkswagen until the automaker fulfilled what they agreed, and recent acquisitions only confirmed its superiority.
