Contracts on Scholarships to 1.930 Students Signed

IKREMinister for veterans’ affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, Faid Heco, and the director of the Fund for supporting the education of children of veterans, fallen soldiers and fallen civilian war victims IKRE, Smajo Halilovic, signed contracts for granting of scholarships for students whose parents were members of the veteran population.

Also, the social situation of talented students is taken into consideration, particularly in families where several children are being educated.

After the completion of the contest right on the scholarship in the amount of 100 BAM per month is achieved by 943 candidates from the university, from which 81 candidates qualified for a scholarship without scoring, and 987 candidates from high school, contract were signed. In addition, 244 candidates qualified without scoring, which is 1.930 scholarships in total for 2014/ 2015 year.

As said during the signing of the contracts, goal is to help talented students and keep them in BiH.

Minister Heco and the director of IKRE, Smajo Halilovic, wished a lot of success to students in further education.

Halilovic also urged businessmen and others that are able to, to help in scholarships for talented students in cooperation with the Canton and Fund IKRE.
