Goethe- Institute in B&H and Music Academy in Sarajevo began their cooperation in 2013 on a project called Sarajevo Sonic Studio.
Sonic Studio is focused on the development of the composing scene in B&H and its integration in the European artistic trends and is formed as a cooperation of the French Institute in B&H, Goethe- Institute and Music Academy, as a part of Franco-German fund “Elysées”. The new Director of Goethe- Institute in Sarajevo Charlotte Hermelink with associates Azra Salihbašić-Selimović and Deniz Zehra Tavli visited the Music Academy in Sarajevo in order to strengthen and promote this cooperation.
During the conversation with the Dean of Music Academy in Sarajevo Dr. Ivan Čavlović and with the artistic manager of the project Sarajevo Sonic Studio Amil Ramović the commitment of the Goethe Institute to develop the cooperation with Sarajevo cultural scene and the desire to intensify the possibilities of cooperation between German and B&H artists was confirmed.
Hermelink and Čavlović agreed that the cooperation between the two institutions should be continued and institutions will seek opportunities for networking and cooperation in other projects as well.
Goethe – Institute, the French Institute in B&H and Music Academy in Sarajevo will continue to cooperate within the Elyséss fund.
