At the extraordinary telephone session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the chairman, adopted the Information on holding the Berlin Process Summit in Sofia, on November 10 this year.

The information is accompanied by six documents which strengthen cooperation in the Western Balkans and give a new dimension in the relations between the region and the European Union, under the auspices of the Berlin Process.

Among the documents focusing on economic development and strengthening mutual cooperation in the region are the Declaration on the Common Regional Market and the Action Plan for the Development of the Common Regional Market 2021-2024, and the Declaration of the Western Balkan Partners on the Green Agenda.

The Summit will also discuss the conclusions of previously held meetings of health and interior ministers within the Berlin Process, as well as the conclusions of the ministerial meeting on Roma integration.

The adoption of these documents will bring numerous benefits to the countries of the region and speed up the fulfillment of obligations in the EU accession process.

All competent levels of government in BiH are instructed to, in accordance with their constitutional competencies, engage in full capacity and contribute to the activities arising from the Berlin Process.

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of BiH, in coordination with the Cabinet of the Chairman, with the aim of efficient participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Sofia Summit, will initiate the procedure for obtaining the consent of the BiH Presidency to accept the proposed Summit documents.
