Deciding on the Motion filed by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, on 7 December 2018 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision granting the Prosecutor’s Motion and ordered the suspects Radojica Baćović, Marko Krtolica, Nikola Vemić, Milorad Koprivica into pre-trial custody.

Pre-trial custody was ordered on the grounds set forth in Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a) and b), of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically the risk of flight, destruction and concealment of evidence, as well as interference with witnesses. Under the Decision, pre-trial custody may last for no longer than one month, running from the day of suspects arrest, which means until 5 January 2019 and the indicated hour of the arrest of each individual suspect.

Nikola Vemić et al. are suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH.
