Create Space To Increase Foreign Investment

editadjapo 201212The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Edita Đapo received yesterday in Sarajevo the Deputy Ambassador of the US to BiH Nicholas M. Hill and the Economic Advisor in the US Embassy Lian von Wantoch.

They spoke about the political and economic situation between BiH and the US.

They devoted particular attention to the improvement of the business environment and attracting foreign investment in BiH, and the importance of the conclusion and implementation of the agreement on the avoidance of double taxation.

It was concluded at the meeting that it was necessary to create space for increasing foreign investment, as well as strengthening direct contacts between business people.

The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury said that the support of the US is necessary and very important for the further development of BIH and she thanked them for the visit and the support of the US to BIH, announced the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BIH.
