Border crossings on the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the sea, as well as those leading to the north and northwest, are crowded this morning.

As announced from the information center of BIHAMK, the largest crowds are on Doljani, at the exit from BiH to Croatia, and BC Hum, the exit from BiH to Montenegro. There were recorded kilometers long columns of vehicles at 8 AM and retention time of two hours.

Somewhat shorter columns of vehicles were recorded on BC Bosanski Brod, Gabela polje, Izacic, Osoje, Bosanska Gradiska, Deleusa and Zupci, where you will wait between 40 minutes and an hour.

Retention time on BC Ivanica is around 30 minutes at the exit from BiH, but you will have to wait between an hour and hour and a half at the entrance to Croatia. A somewhat more favorable situation is at BC Bijaca, where the retention time is around 30 minutes.

Retention time at border crossings with Serbia is up to 30 minutes.

Due to the high daily temperatures, from BIHAMK advised citizens to travel in the early morning or evening hours and if you travel during the day, you should take more frequent breaks. Turn off the A/C devices before leaving the vehicle in order to allow the organism to get used to outdoor air temperature.

Drivers are reminded to check whether they have all the necessary documentation for crossing the border before the trip. It is necessary to have a valid passport for the person as well as a green card for the vehicle. Due to numerous inquiries, they noted that crossing the border with Serbia and Montenegro for adults is still possible with a personal card, while children must have a passport.
