airport2The authorized officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority of the Regional Centre in Sarajevo temporarily confiscated various goods in the amount of 35,000 BAM at the Sarajevo International Airport.

Conducting detailed control of goods and passengers, who came into the customs territory of B&H in Sarajevo Airport, officials of ITA found goods that had not been checked for import customs clearance.

There was a variety of different technical goods of higher value, such as unmanned aircraft PHANTOM (popular drone), smartphones, computers, cameras, watches, as well as various equipment for mobile devices.

Confiscation of the mentioned goods is the result of increased activities on prevention of smuggling of goods at the beginning of 2016 at the border crossing International Airport Sarajevo.

During these activities particularly helpful was the specialist equipment, which was previously donated to ITA by the US Government through the EXBS program, which includes X-ray stationed Smith-Heiman and CT-30.
