Dani Alves did not commit Suicide in Prison

On February 22, the famous Brazilian soccer player Dani Alves was sentenced to four and a half years in prison in Spain, and today information appeared on the Internet that Alves took his own life.

As you could have guessed, it was disinformation, which was confirmed by Dani Alves’ brother, who publicly called out those who spread false news.
It all started with the posting of “internet prankster” Paul Albuquerque from Rio de Janeiro, who posted a fake news story, and it quickly went viral.

Albuquerque, who describes himself on Twitter as a lover of football, beer and beautiful women, wrote last night: “Information I am receiving is that Daniel Alves has killed himself.”

He added in a second post, eight hours later, after his initial message to his 12,600 followers went viral on social media: “People, for God’s sake, what are the consequences of this?”

“I was thinking of my cousin Danielzinho from the city of Nova Iguacu who disappeared but has now been found alive,” Albuquerque excused himself.

The information that Alves committed suicide was also denied by the reliable Brazilian journalist Marcelo Bechler.

“People from his PR team contacted lawyers and confirmed that the rumors are false, everything has been denied,” Bechler wrote on his Twitter profile, putting an end to the stories about it.

Let us remind you that news recently appeared that Alves will leave prison earlier than expected, but he is still behind bars, while his wife Joana Sanz has already filed for divorce, Klix.ba writes.
