Davis Cup to be held Today in Zenica

davis cupYesterday, in the City Arena in Zenica doubles for Davis Cup were drawn, and BiH will meet Neatherlands during the second round of the first group of Euro-African zone.

Single matches will be played on Friday from 14:00 o’clock and will be opened by Bh tennis player Mirza Basic and Robin Haase and Damir Dzumhur and Thiemo de Bakker.

Double match will be played on Saturday from 14:00 o’clock where Mirza Basic and Tomislav Brkic will meet with Tallon Griekspoor and Jean-Julien Rojer.

The last day was left for the singles match between Damir Dzumhur and Robin Haase and Mirza Basic and Thiemo de Bakker.

Tomislav Brkic, captain, said that after the first day, the result of 1: 1 would be sufficient for further matches. Dzumhur said that he hopes that the issue of opponents will be solved earlier because it is difficult to play with the score 2: 2.

“It is always difficult to play for three won sets, but the matches are played day after day, so we’ll see,” said Basic.
Last day is reserved for the match between Damir Dzumhur and Robin Haase and Mirza Basic and Thiemo de Bakker.
