fer-igra-za-djetinstvoOn Saturday, 31st August, USAID and the Basketball Federation of B&H organized a day dedicated to children of all nationalities and different opportunities in B&H, in order to promote the rights of children from the most vulnerable social groups to education.

All-day entertainment will be held on 31st August, during the final preparations for the new school year, also one day before the departure of B&H national team at this year’s European championship.

The day dedicated to children will begin with Children’s Carnival at 15 pm at the Square Oslobođenje, and children will have the opportunity to play basketball with B&H national team members, and they will do face paintings, magic tricks and other games.

At 18:30 from the Square Oslobođenje to SKC Skenderija will be organized Walk for Children’s Rights, which aims to promote tolerance and equal access to education for all, especially for children from the most vulnerable social groups.

After the day’s activities at 20 pm in Skenderija will be held a charity basketball game between the current B&H team, led by Mirza Teletović, and the national team of B&H of 1993.

Admission to all events is free, but donations will be spent for the construction of access to schools for children with special needs, for procurement of medical supplies that are missing, as well as for books for the poorest students across the country.
