The return of the crew of the Axiom-3 space mission from the International Space Station (ISS) has been delayed until at least Monday due to “adverse conditions,” SpaceX announced early Saturday.

“We now plan no earlier than Monday, February 5, for Dragon and the Ax-3 crew to separate from the ISS,” the private space company said in a post on the X social network about the return of the crew, including Turkey’s first space traveler Alper Gezeravci.

It added: “Teams will continue to monitor the weather before the next opportunity”.

The Dragon capsule, which will return the Axiom-3 mission to Earth, was scheduled to leave the ISS at 11 a.m. today.

The Ax-3 mission was launched on January 18 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a private space company SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, and docked with the International Space Station on January 20.

The crew was responsible for conducting over 30 scientific experiments, AA writes.
