In solving the open issues between the two countries, more decisive steps need to be taken, because this is important for the future of the people of both countries and for the overall stability of the entire region, said the Prime Minister of Serbia Ivica Dačić in Belgrade on occasion of today’s meeting with the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H.
Chairman of the B&H House of Representatives Denis Bećirović, who led the delegation, along with Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Milorad Živković, welcomed the agreement on a joint session of the B&H Council of Ministers and the government of the Republic of Serbia and expressed hope that it would be held as soon as possible.
He also said that it is the strategic interest of B&H for Serbia to be stable and democratic and expressed hope that Serbia has the same interest when it comes to B&H.
Prime Minister Daćić also agreed that open issues between the two countries have to be solved, and not pushed under the carpet. He added that problems problems should be eliminated systematically and to simultaneously work on connecting stronger economic ties between the two countries and their joint appearance in world markets, above all markets in the Middle East and Russia, as well as other markets.
