The EU Delegation to B&H is the host of the second seminar on Roma inclusion in B&H, which will be held tomorrow in Sarajevo.
The seminar will offer a chance to speak about the progress made in the implementation of agreed operational conclusions from July 2011 and concrete measures to improve the social inclusion of Roma. The seminar will be focused on issues of civil registration and education.
The Director of Policy and Strategy for Enlargement in the General Directorate of the European Commission for Enlargement Pierre Mirel will chair the seminar. At the beginning of the seminar, the Head of the EU Delegation to B&H Ambassador Peter Sorensen, Director Pierre Mirel and Minister for Human Rights and Refugees Damir Ljubić will give addresses.
Representatives of local governments, nonprofit organizations, as well as UNHCR, UNICEF, Council of Europe, OSCE and the UN Women Agency and the UN Country Team in B&H (UNCT) will also take part in this seminar.
