The Prime Minister of China, Li Keqiang, noted that China is ready to further improve cooperation with BiH in the field of transport infrastructure and agriculture.

Keqiang expressed his satisfaction with the encouraging results of the current cooperation between China and BiH during his conversation with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic on the margins of the Summit “16 + 1” in Sofia.

He also recalled that Chinese companies are already present in the market of BiH with their projects, and noted that China is interested in further co-operation in the field of agriculture.

Keqiang also said that the establishment of a direct flight between Beijing and Sarajevo is planned, which should improve the traffic of commodities and passengers, as well as the exchange of tourists.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH also expressed his satisfaction with the fact that “16 +1” initiative is progressing and becoming stronger and he noted the commitment of BiH to continuation of its cooperation within this mechanism.

Zvizdic stated that BiH is interested in continuation, improvement and strengthening of relations with China.

Chairman Zvizdic also noted that a large number of important agreements have been signed so far, and some of them are the abolition of visas and opening new opportunities for realization of the connection between business people and investments, especially in the field of energy, infrastructure and tourism.

He further noted that BiH is interested in further strengthening of cooperation in the field of agriculture, and the agreement signed in Sofia will also make its contribution to that.
