Doctor Hasan Muratovic dies of Coronavirus in Sarajevo

This morning at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of Clinical Centre of University in Sarajevo, prof. dr. Hasan Muratovic died of coronavirus, is confirmed for the Radiosarajevo.ba portal.

“The professor fought with the coronavirus at KCUS for almost two weeks. Unfortunately, he passed away this morning,” they added for Radio Sarajevo.

Hasan Muratovic was born on April 11, 1940 in Cude near Olovo. He was rector and longtime professor at the Faculty of Economics and Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, Minister in Governments during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the first post-war Prime Minister of RBiH, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, member and vice president of the Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg.

He was a long-term consultant of the Institute for Organization and Economics Sarajevo, director of the Institute for Research and Development UPI Sarajevo and president of the consulting company Deloitte for BiH.
