“We politicians must always know that someone somewhere gave their life for this Republic. That’s why we protect it,” Milorad Dodik, the president of this entity, said at yesterday‘s official celebration of the Republika Srpska (RS) Day in Banja Luka.

“The republic has a moral aspect that no one can destroy. Republic, how proud it sounds. Freedom for us is not a philosophy but a way of life. This is what we see today in our streets and cities. Freedom is what we need,” said Dodikyesterday.

He added that “this nation does not need colonizers or tutors”.

“We don’t need colonizers or tutors. This people has never lived enslaved. That’s why this must not be banned, if it is banned it means that we have fallen”.

“We are staring at Serbia and Russia and our people. We do not want any conflicts and we will not lead them. We want our policemen to defend our houses that exist in these areas”, said Dodik in his address on the occasion of RS Day, the date of which was declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), N1 writes.
