The Municipality Centar, through the Public Institution “Center for Sports and Recreation“ Sarajevo, donated 400 chairs that will be installed into the stands of the stadium in Ilijas.
On that occasion, the Mayor of the Municiplaity Centar, Dzevad Becirevic, visoted the stadium in Ilijas where he was hosted, together with th representatives of the Football club Ilijas, that manages with the sport complex, by the Mayor of this local community, Akif Fazlic.
A Chairman of the Municipal Council Centar, Nedzad Ajnadzic, director of the PI Center for Sports and Recreation, Jasmina Polic, and chairman advisers, Jasmin Terovic and Adil Katica were also with the Mayor Becirevic.
As representatives of the Football Club Ilijas emphasized, this donation is very important for them.
“I thank to the Municipality Centar. This is an important moment for all of us, because it is a beginning of something we dream about for a long time. Our dream is to create optimal conditions on the stadium in Ilijas in order to enable playing of significant games. Chairs that they donated to us will beautify our stands in order to await matches in a more pleasant ambient.
At the same time, it is a beginning of more serious works that include a reconstruction of the main field, installment of an artificial grass on the additional field, construction of new premises etc.“, emphasized Senad Custovic, president of the Assembly of FC Ilijas.
Director Polic expressed her hope that this is a beginning of one successful cooperation.
