Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received Michael Gahler, Member of the European Parliament and Coordinator of the European People’s Party in the European Parliament.

The two officials discussed the current crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the unilateral actions of the RS entity authorities, which undermine the constitutional order and the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The focus of the talks was also the implementation of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the positions of actors in the international community when it comes to the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Presidency member Džaferović expressed gratitude to MP Gahler and other European MPs for their activities in the European Parliament, with the aim of supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BiH Presidency said in a press statement.
