More than 36,000 citizens of the Stari Grad municipality in Sarajevo can vote in early elections for the mayor of this municipality starting at 7:00 a.m.
Citizens will choose between Irfan Čengić from the SDP and Dženan Selimbegović from the SDA.
46 polling stations have been established, and seven mobile teams will work in the field.
We remind you that the early elections for the mayor of the Stari Grad Municipality were called after the former mayor Ibrahim Hadžibajrić was removed from this position by impeachment. The cantonal prosecutor’s office in Sarajevo filed an indictment against him for abuse of position, receiving a gift and violation of employment rights.
