According to the data of the European Seismological Center, the earthquake epicenter was 19 kilometers east of Dubrovnik, at a depth of two kilometers, and was recorded on Thursday morning just after six o’clock, according to Klix.ba news portal.
The earthquake was also felt in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to local media in Trebinje, it lasted for several seconds.
The Croatian Seismological Service recorded a magnitude 3.1 earthquake on Wednesday between Osijek and Vukovar.
At the end of last month, Croatia was hit by a series of strong earthquakes, the strongest being magnitude 5.5 degrees. In just a few days, up to one hundred earthquakes have been recorded in Croatia.
