Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched the online campaign “We Press Forward”, based on short movies that show the results of Switzerland’s long-term engagement with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The campaign is taking place on the Embassy’s social media channels – Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo.

The short movies show how the Swiss Cooperation Program brings people and institutions together throughout the country and improves the lives of people in fields where Switzerland has innovative approaches to offer and where reforms and systemic changes are greatly needed. These include local governance and municipal services, economic development and employment, and health care.

“Our message is clear: If people get engaged, change is possible and progress can be reached. Have a look at the animated movie on local governance and discover what Irma and Goran have reached in their municipality. We also want to share our results with the Swiss people so that they can be proud of the Swiss engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina too. We often use Swiss knowledge and Swiss experience in our development projects, in the health sector or in vocational education for example. In everything that we do, our ultimate goal is to give people – young people, in particular – reasons to stay and live a good life here, in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, stated Barbara Dätwyler Scheuer, Deputy Head of Mission and Director of Cooperation at the Swiss Embassy in BiH.
