UPOSLENICI ZOI '84 11 MJESECI BEZ PLAÆEEmployees of Cantonal Public Company ZOI’ 84 did not receive salaries for already 11 months.

Their health insurance has not been paid since 2012, and working experience for years has not been bound. These are the reasons that today they gathered in front of the building, where the session of Assembly of Canton Sarajevo is being held, to once again point out the numerous problems that 184 employees of this company is facing.

The group of employees called on component authorities of Sarajevo Canton to address them and to confirm to them, whether there is hope for implementation of program that Assembly of Sarajevo Canton adopted for this company, which would solve their numerous problems.

President of Employee Union of Company ZOI’ 84 Alija Hodžić said today for the press that at least 10 employees of the company are entitled to retire, but due to lack of payment of pension insurance that is not possible.

“This is a company of seasonal importance and is not part of the cantonal budget as other public companies. ZOI ’84 applies for each project as a third party. We live only from activities that we organize, such as concerts or some other activities on Bjelašnica and Igman”, explained Hodžić.

He underlined that the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton adopted the decision for a loan for this company in the amount of eight million BAM and the decision that approves the registration of mortgage on company facility, whose value is 11 million.

Hodžić said that the loan has not been yet realized although the request is sent to 22 banks.

Several employees gathered with whistles and banners and call on authorities to solve their problems as soon as possible.
