The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received a budget for 2023 in the amount of slightly more than 6.7 billion BAM.
The budget is 1.1 billion BAM higher than last year’s.
This was confirmed by decisions at yesterday’s session of the House of Representatives, and today at the session of the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament, which ended yesterday evening.
The budget was proposed by the Federal Government, and will become operational the day after it is published in the Official Gazette of FBiH.
At the aforementioned sessions of the two parliamentary chambers yesterday and today, the Law on Budget Execution was also approved.
This year’s financial plans for the Federal Institute for Health Insurance and Reinsurance, the Employment Institute and FERK were also accepted, as well as the Law on Amendments to the Law on Contributions.
All these decisions required support, in the same texts of the proposed acts, from both houses of the Federal Parliament, which happened in these two days.
