Under the auspices of the Department of the Croatian National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Second World War and its aftermath, the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of All Totalitarian and Authoritarian Regimes was marked at the “Graveyard of Peace” in Bila.

All victims of the Croatian people throughout history were honored, and the 80th anniversary of the tragedy of Bleiburg and the Stations of the Cross was marked.

The President of the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Marija Buhač, said that throughout history the Croatian people carry heavy crosses, remember killings and suffering, but thanks to the traditions and memories of their ancestors, they did not allow their sacrifice to fall into oblivion.

The wreath was laid by the president of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović, leading the delegation of HNS BiH, and then by the representative of the Prime Minister of Croatia Zvonko Milas.
