The event “The World in One City”, where 30 students of the United World College in Mostar (UWC Mostar) from 30 different countries will present their traditional costumes and cultures, will be held on Tuesday, April 4, at the Old Bridge in Mostar.

“We have been actively working on this project for four to five months. Taking into account the fact that the field of tourism should be constantly improved, I came up with the idea to implement this project, which will also contribute to the promotion of the Tourism Studies of the University of Džemal Bijedić in Mostar, the College of the United World in Mostar and our city. Also, the goal is to make a promotional video that will be shown on various media and social networks, and in this way we want to encourage young people to enroll in the Study of Tourism, but also to present the world in our city and invite tourists to the City of Mostar,” pointed out second-year Tourism Studies student Iman Dilberović, the initiator of this project.

Adla Velagić, coordinator for public relations and communications of UWC Mostar, expressed her satisfaction that they are part of this project, which is an example of good cooperation and excellent student initiative.

“Taking into account all the positive reactions to the traditional event organized by the College ‘Around the World in 80 Minutes’, which represents world traditions and cultures, we believe that this project can significantly contribute to the promotion of Mostar in the world, especially considering that we plan to present the promotional video to colleges as well from 18 countries of the world,” said Velagić.
