bakircovicDeputy President of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović and President of Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) Dragan Čović discussed in Sarajevo the ways to unblock formation of the Federation Government.

Izetbegović confirmed today that he should meet with President of Democratic Front (DF) Željko Komšić today or tomorrow to find a solution and complete the process of formation of new post-election assembly of the Council of Ministers and the Federation Government.

”I would not go into details, but after talking to Čović, we are close to a solution. We need to see if Komšić will agree,” emphasized Izetbegović.

Problems related to formation of the Federation Government appeared after it was determined that representation of peoples in that entity government, which was proposed by the President of the Federation of BiH and his deputy, was not fulfilled.

Izetbegović rejected claims of opposition parties at the state level that deadline for formation of the Council of Ministers expired on March 19.
