The export of electricity from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in four months of this year exceeded half a billion BAM.

Moreover, exports for these four months amounted to 500 million and 991 thousand BAM, which is 1.2 percent more than in the same period last year.

In April alone, exports amounted to 133 million BAM.

On the other hand, the import of electricity in four months was 114.5 million BAM, which is 77.4 percent more than in the same period in 2022.

For the whole of last year, the export of electricity from BiH was one billion and 74 million BAM, and the import was 393 million BAM.

However, it should be recalled that last year the price of electricity on the market increased drastically, which is the main reason for the increase in the value of exports and imports.
