FBiH Government is determined to save the Company ‘Zrak’

Federation of BiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić said after today’s session in Sarajevo that the FBiH Government is determined to try to save the company Zrak.

He pointed out that it was decided that the Government of FBiH should be registered as a creditor in the debts that Zrak has and become part of the bankruptcy council.

“We unofficially learned that the bankruptcy judge could decide that Zrak goes into bankruptcy,” said Lakić.

He explained that the reasons for this are that the company’s representative – the lawyer who sent the appeal to the first-instance authority – is not authorized by an authorized person, that is, the director of Zrak is not registered in the register of companies as a legal representative of the company.

“The FBiH government will not abandon the company Zrak d.d. and will try to work on her recovery,” said Lakić.

Answering a journalist’s question, the minister emphasized that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has no interest in forming a new gas transport company and that he expects the text of the law on the South Interconnection gas pipeline to be presented at the Government session soon.
