Federal Minister of Energy announces Increase of Gas Prices

Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić said today in Sarajevo that the price of gas in Federation of BiH increased by 3.99 percent because Gazprom increased export prices for BiH.

“We have to realize the price we got in 2026, and that is another indicator why we have to build another gas pipeline, which at the moment is the Southern Interconnection,” said Lakić.

He expressed the hope that the events in the coming period will not affect the standard of citizens and said that it is about things that have been served to us and over which we have no control.

Lakić pointed out that in the previous three billing periods in the FBiH, gas prices were lowered and that the new increase of 3.99 percent is less than those reductions.
