The owner of the company “Srebrena Malina” Fikret Hodžić was released after the Constitutional Court of BiH overturned the verdict of the Appellate Chamber of the Court of BiH, which sentenced him to five years in prison in the “respirators” affair.
Hodžić was released from prison after the Court of BiH received today the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the case “Fadil Novalić and others”, in which he was one of the defendants.
After the conviction was overturned, according to the provisions of the Law on the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures of BiH and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Hodžić can no longer serve his prison sentence, the Court of BiH announced.
