For_Those_Who_Can_Tell_No_Tales-489411730-largeAfter Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla and Mostar, the movie ‘For Those Who Can Tell No Tales’ by Jasmila Žbanić will be shown in multiplex UNA from 15 November in Bihać.

On this occasion, there will be a special screening that will be followed by a discussion with the director Jasmila Žbanić and experts that deal with support to victims of sexual violence.

The screening will be held on 15 November at 18:30, and among the guests and people from public life, the British Ambassador to B&H Nigel Casey will participate. The discussion will take place after the screening and will be moderated by journalist Mersiha Drinjaković.

This film premiered on 7 September at the 38th Toronto Film Festival in the selection of Special Presentation, and the European premiere took place at the 61st San Sebastian Film Festival on 26 September.

‘For Those Who Can Tell No Tales’ was inspired by the deeply moving story of artist Kym Vercoe, who visited Višegrad in search of the famous bridge that she read about in the book by Ivo Andrić called ‘Bridge on the Drina’, not knowing what took place in this city during the war.

Kym Vercoe, Jasmila Žbanić and Zoran Solomun wrote the screenplay, and the director of photography is Christine Maier. Kym Vercoe, Boris Isaković, Jasna Đuričić, Simon McBourney, Leon Lučev and Branko Cvejić star in this film.

The special screening is being organized with the support of the Embassy of Great Britain in B&H.
